Practice hours
The Thetford practice is open from 8.30am until 7.00pm Monday to Friday and the Botesdale clinic is open Monday and Thursday afternoons. In cases
of an out-of-hours emergency, we operate a message service.
Your first visit to the osteopath
Your initial consultation will allow you plenty of time to tell the osteopath
about your problem, followed by a comprehensive examination to determine
the best solution. The osteopath will explain in detail what has gone
wrong, the treatment that is required, and how long your recovery is likely
to take. If treatment other than osteopathy is indicated we will refer
you to the most appropriate source of help.
For the osteopath to examine you properly it will be
necessary to remove some items of clothing. This usually means to your
underwear.
Subsequent visits
These will be arranged, as far as possible, to fit in around your schedule.
Your osteopath will carefully monitor your progress and discharge you
as soon as you have made satisfactory recovery.
We can provide sick notes if necessary.
We can also prepare Medical Reports at the request of
your doctor or solicitor. These reports are charged separately.
